A mobile device (1) comprises a first sensor (15) configured to acquire information for determining whether the device (1) is in a state of being in a train, a second sensor (16) configured to detect an azimuth of the device (1) by measuring geomagnetism, and at least one controller (10) configured to stop correction processing for detecting the azimuth of the device (1) by the second sensor (16) when the device (1) is determined to be in the state of being in a train.
