Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning method, etc., with which it is possible to automatically raise the precision of reference reception information and realize high-accuracy FP-based positioning, in even an area where a radio wave fluctuation is severe as in an outdoor environment.SOLUTION: In positioning based on a network assisted FP scheme, a management unit 45 in a server 9 on a network, regardless of whether up-oriented positioning or down-oriented positioning or both, periodically or randomly updates the reference reception information vector of a storage unit 43 using a plurality of known beacon tags disposed in a space and an AP connected to the network, whereby it is made possible to flexibly respond to a change in an indoor radio wave situation and realize highly accurate positioning based on the network assisted scheme. Furthermore, the server 9 enables the plurality of beacon tags to be automatically and integratedly managed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
