To produce a striplike eggroll having a prescribed pattern drawn on the surface thereof, by forming a platy egg roll, marking the pattern on the surface thereof and cutting the platy egg roll having the pattern marked thereon into a prescribed shape.
The platy egg roll 1b having a surface including plural surfaces of the striplike egg rolls 1d for marking a desired pattern is formed and a prescribed pattern is marked in a prescribed region on the surface of the platy egg roll 1b. The platy egg roll 1b is then cut into the striplike form in the direction perpendicular to the surface of the platy egg roll 1b. The platy egg roll 1b is continuously pushed out while being formed into a continuous sheetlike shape and each pattern 3 is then marked on the surface of the platy eggroll 1b according to the pushing out speed. The resultant platy egg roll 1c having the pattern 3 marked thereon can be cut in any direction intersecting the pushing out direction according to the pushing out speed.
