Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform skew correction in accordance with the state of a sheet being a conveyance object.SOLUTION: An attitude correction device 100 comprises: a pre-register roll pair 110 which conveys a sheet while sandwiching the same; a sheet detection part 140 which detects the inclination of the sheet conveyed by the pre-register roll pair 110; and a register roll pair 120 which conveys the sheet conveyed by the pre-register roll pair 110 while sandwiching on the downstream side in a conveyance direction A of the sheet with respect to the pre-register roll pair 110. The device causes the sheet conveyed by the pre-register roll pair 110 to abut against the register roll pair 120 to form deflection in the sheet in the state where the register roll pair 120 is stopped, and move the register roll pair 120 in the axial direction (left direction L or right direction R) intersecting the conveyance direction A of the sheet in accordance with the magnitude and direction of inclination of the sheet detected by the sheet detection part 140.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
