PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance operation accuracy of THA or the like.SOLUTION: A posture fixing device includes: a first press/contact tool including a first press/contact face pressed against and contacting an anterior superior iliac spine near a placement face out of a pair of anterior superior iliac spines of a human body; a second press/contact tool including a second press/contact face pressed against and contacting an anterior superior iliac spine far from the placement face out of the pair of anterior superior iliac spines; a third press/contact tool including a third press/contact face pressed against and contacting a pubic symphysis of the human body; a fourth press/contact tool including a fourth press/contact face facing the first, second, and third press/contact faces and pressed against and contacting a waist back face of the human body; an instruction rod; and a rotation mechanism supporting the instruction rod so as to be rotated at any angle with respect to each of a fixed reference face containing the first, second, and third press/contact faces and the placement face.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
