Abstract:
To suppress an erroneous gate ignition of a semiconductor device that configures a class-D amplifier in a power converter that performs a phase shift control, and enable the phase shift control even when a gate phase difference θ is small.SOLUTION: In a power converter, a plurality of class-D amplifiers are arranged in parallel. An ON/OFF operation of a switching element for a leading leg and a lagging leg of each class-D amplifier is performed by a phase shift control for displacing phases by a gate phase difference θ. In the phase shift control, an auxiliary current is supplied to the class-D amplifier on the basis of a voltage difference between an output terminal of an upper side class-D amplifier and an output terminal of a lower side class-D amplifier. As the auxiliary current, a current flowing between a drain and a source of the switching elements is assisted, which suppresses the generation of a displacement voltage dv/dt when the switching element switches from OFF to ON, and a displacement current di/dt generated by the displacement voltage on a modulated wave, and prevents the switching element in a state in which the other one of the legs is OFF from erroneously being ignited.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
