Abstract:
To prevent occurrence of vibration or noise due to ripple by accurately detecting a magnetic pole position of a fast rotating motor even if a low-resolution magnetic pole position sensor is used.SOLUTION: A control circuit 60 of a power conversion device includes: a speed detection part 61 including a pulse edge detection part 61a for detecting an edge of an output pulse from a magnetic pole position sensor, a timer measurement part 61d for outputting a timer count value for PWM pulse generation, a latch part 61b for latching the timer count value with the pulse edge, and a speed/angle calculation part 61c for calculating a rotation speed based on the output of the latch part; a carrier interruption timing detection part 62 for detecting interrupt timing based on the timer count value; an angle difference calculation compensation part 64 for calculating an angle compensation value by converting a time difference between the interruption timing and the output pulse edge timing to an angle according to the output of the speed/angle calculation part 61c; and a motor control part 65, and the power conversion device corrects a magnetic pole position detection value using the angle compensation value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
