Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel power generating composition having power generating property, and a novel power generating element, a power generating device, and a power generation and storage device using the power generating composition.SOLUTION: A power generating composition is composed of a mixture of a powdery nanocarbon-conductive material composite, an auxiliary conductive agent comprising graphene powder as a main component, and metal hydroxide powder. Respective components are pulverized if necessary such that respective maximum grain sizes are nearly equal to one another. A molded body formed by molding the power generating composition as it is, or by mixing the composition with water and molding the mixture, into a suitable outer shape functions as a power generating element. Also a power generating device is obtained by arranging a pair of electrodes such that the power generating element is sandwiched in between. Further, a power generation and storage device can be obtained by using the power generating element as a positive electrode material, laminating the power generating element, a separator, and a negative electrode material in the presence of an electrolytic solution, and arranging them while bringing the positive electrode material and the negative electrode material respectively into contact with collecting electrodes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
