Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation device and a power generation system capable of efficiently generating power regardless of a form of waste heat used as a heat source.SOLUTION: A power generation device comprises: a flow channel 2 installed in the vicinity of a pyroelectric element 1; a latent heat storage material 3; and means such as an ultrasonic generation device 4 for inducing phase transition of the latent heat storage material in a super-cooled state. The means periodically changes temperature of the pyroelectric element 1 by intermittently inducing phase transition of the latent heat storage material 3 flowing in the flow channel 2, in the vicinity of the pyroelectric element 1, which makes it possible to efficiently extract continuous power from the pyroelectric element 1.
