Abstract:
To provide a power storage device comprising an outer package, the power storage device having improved safety.SOLUTION: A power storage device 1 comprises: a plurality of power storage elements 20; and an outer package 10 that stores the plurality of power storage elements 20. The power storage device 1 comprises: a valve seat 101 provided on the outer package 10, the valve seat having an air outlet 110 and formed in a cylindrical shape; and a valve member 150 disposed so as to close the air outlet 110. By receiving internal pressure of the outer package 10, the valve member 150 can change its state from a closed state of restricting outflow of gas from the valve seat 101 to an open state of permitting outflow of gas from the valve seat 101. The air outlet 110 includes a side face air outlet 112 on a side wall part 102 of the valve seat 101, the side face air outlet formed in a notch shape from the tip of the valve seat 101 and penetrating the side wall part 102. The valve member 150 includes a reinforcement part 155 protruding inward, the reinforcement part 155 disposed at a position corresponding to the side face air outlet 112.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
