Abstract:
Provided is a powertrain (P) for a vehicle in which an exhaust purifier (70) is utilized as a dynamic damper. The powertrain (P) includes an engine (1), and a transmission (2) linked to the engine (1). The engine (1) has an exhaust purification system (70) containing a GPF device (73) for purifying an exhaust gas. The exhaust purification system (70) is disposed along a rear external surface (14a) of a cylinder head (14). The exhaust purification system (70) is supported via a first support (74) on the engine (1). A vertical side portion of the exhaust purification system (70) is located downstream of the first support (74) in a flow direction of an exhaust gas, extending in a direction away from the external surface (14a).
