Abstract:
To provide a power transmission device capable of improving the operability by suppressing abrupt feeling during power transmission while making effective use of a space.SOLUTION: In a power transmission device, a clutch member has a first clutch member 4a, a second clutch member 4b, and back torque transmission cams, and is provided with a cushioning member 12 capable of applying biasing force while allowing movement of an interlocking member 9 by the interlocking member 9 moving and compressing the cushioning member in the course that a driving side clutch plate 6 and a driven side clutch plate 7 are switched from a non-operation state to an operation state. The back torque transmission cam includes a groove portion K having a cam surface K1, and a protrusion T having a cam surface T1 that faces the cam surface K1 when being arranged to face the groove portion K. The protrusion T extends in the axial direction of an output shaft 3, and an end of the cushioning member 12 on a weight member 8 side overlaps the protrusion T when viewed from the radial direction of the output shaft 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
