Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow temperature calculation considering both a heat transfer rate between a tread part and a road surface and a heat transfer rate between the tread part and air.SOLUTION: A method for generating a tire model for numerical analysis on the basis of a tire provided with a tread part by using a computer and a method for simulating a tire temperature are provided. The method for generating a tire model comprises: a step of modeling a tire with a finite number of elements to input a tire model including a tread part model corresponding to the tread part, to the computer; a step S31 of dividing respective elements appearing on a surface of the tread part model into first elements to be brought into contact with the road surface and second elements to not be brought into contact with the road surface under a preliminarily determined ground contact condition; a step S32 of inputting a first heat transfer rate being a heat transfer rate between the tread part and the road surface, to the first elements; and a step S33 of inputting a second heat transfer rate being a heat transfer rate between the tread part and air, to the second elements.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
