Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press molding technique by which a structural component of a closed cross-sectional shape can be molded with a small number of steps, and which can eliminate the need for removal of a punch.SOLUTION: A pair of dies 22 are moved to a position at which the pair of dies 22 face each other with a punch 20 interposed therebetween in the state that a metal plate 10 is pressed onto a first pressing surface of the punch 20 by a pad 21 and is temporarily fixed, and first bending molding is performed. Further, a second process, in which the pair of dies 22 are moved toward the punch 20 and second bending molding performed, is executed, thereby achieving bending molding into a closed cross-sectional shape. Then, the pair of dies 22 and so on are retreated, and a molded product is taken out of the punch 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
