To provide an adhesive composition and an adhesive, excellent in antistatic performance, excellent in adhesiveness between an optical layered product, especially a polarizing plate, and a glass substrate even under conditions of high temperature and high humidity, and excellent in such durability that foaming or peeling does not occur between an adhesive layer and the glass substrate and a leak light phenomenon caused by contraction of a polarizing film can be prevented.
The adhesive composition includes acrylic resin (A) having an HLB of 6.8 or larger and an ionic compound (B) having a cyano group-containing anion. The adhesive is prepared by cross-linking the adhesive composition [I] containing the acrylic resin (A) having the HLB of 6.8 or more and the ionic compound (B) having the cyano group-containing anion.
