Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To daily diagnose abnormality of a main shaft with an inexpensive and short-time method.SOLUTION: An abnormality detection section 4 of a main shaft abnormality detection device includes: rotation speed detection means (rotation speed detector 3 and rotation speed measuring section 5) which detects the rotation speed of a main shaft 1; arrival time estimation means (rotation speed change estimation calculating section 6) which estimates an arrival time at which a rotation speed of the main shaft 1 reaches a predetermined rotation speed threshold using a nonlinear model, based on a rotation speed in inertia operation start of the main shaft 1 detected by the rotation speed detection means and a rotation speed of the main shaft 1 detected by the rotation speed detection means after measurement time that has been previously set from the start of the inertia operation; and determination means (main shaft abnormality determination section 8) which compares the arrival time estimated by the arrival time estimation means with previously set set arrival time reaching the rotation speed threshold, and determines abnormality of the main shaft 1 based on the comparison result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
