Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to execute printing even when password information input from a user is not matched, when object data stored in association with the password information is printed.SOLUTION: A printing device includes a first reception part, a printing control part, an execution part, and a second storage part. The first reception part receives image data and first password information from a first terminal device. The execution part executes the processing to receive an update request for updating the first password information in a memory from a second terminal device if a predetermined condition including a mismatch between the first password information stored in the memory and specific password information that is input is met. The second storage part, upon receipt of the update request from the second terminal device, stores second password information in place of the first password information in the memory in association with object data based on the image data. The printing control part causes the object data to be printed if the second password information and the specific password information that is input are matched.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
