Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer informing cleaning of a cutter blade when paste is stuck: and to provide a program.SOLUTION: A printer includes a cutting part, a driving part, measurement means, determination means and notification means. The cutting part is mounted on a transfer path for label paper to be printed, and cuts the label paper. The driving part drives the cutting part to cut the label paper at a prescribed position. The measurement means measures a value resulted from cutting by the cutting part and outputs the measured value. The determination means determines whether or not the measured value by the measurement means exceeds a prescribed threshold value. The notification means notifies cleaning of the cutting part when the determination means determines that the measured value exceeds the threshold value.
