PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which, when a die of a multiple punching device connected to a printer is replaced in a state of power-on, a controller cannot recognize replacement of the die and sets a printing job in a state where another die is selectable, and as a result, a product different from what an operator using a print system expects is obtained.SOLUTION: A post-processing system includes an information processing device which issues a job, a printer which is connected to a post-processing device and a print control device. The printer detects the configuration of equipment including the connected post-processing device, generates and stores equipment configuration information based on the configuration of the detected equipment, determines whether or not the configuration of the post-processing device connected to the printer is changed on the basis of the stored equipment configuration information and equipment configuration information based on the detected equipment configuration, and notifies of information on the changed equipment configuration when determining that the configuration of the post-processing device is changed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
