Abstract:
The invention refers to a combustion process for solid, liquid or gaseous hydrocarbon (HC) raw materials in a thermal engine (100; 200) comprising at least one combustion chamber (106), said process comprises at least one iteration of the following steps constituting a combustion cycle by means of the introduction into said combustion chamber (106), of a load of hydrocarbon materials (HC) and an oxidizing gas, triggering the combustion of said load of hydrocarbon materials with said oxidizing gas; characterized in that said oxidizing gas comprises:
- trioxygen (O 3 ); and
- carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) and/or carbon trioxide (CO 3 ). The invention also refers to a thermal engine implementing and operating the process according to the invention and to a system for producing energy from hydrocarbon materials implementing and operating said engine. See Figure 2 .
