Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment agent that is effective for contaminated soil or the like by a radionuclide or a heavy metal, and to provide a treatment method.SOLUTION: The treatment method for purifying the contaminated soil by a radionuclide or a heavy metal includes the steps of: treating the contaminated soil using a pretreatment agent containing at least either one of a strong acid or an ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid tetrasodium salt and at least either one of ferric nitrate or sodium nitrate; and further more treating the treated contaminated soil by adding to a treatment agent for purifying containing at least either one of polyferric sulfate or ferric chloride and at least one of ferric nitrate, a strong acid, sodium nitrate or calcium nitrate.
