Abstract:
To provide a machining device and a manufacturing method for a connecting rod that can secure excellent positional tolerance and dimensional accuracy of a large end hole and a small end hole, while preventing a machining step and a machining device involved in cutting from being enlarged in size and complicated.SOLUTION: Using an NC machine tool 1 that has a first rotary cutting tool 14 that is inserted into a large end hole 23 formed in a large end part 22 of a con rod 20 to rotationally cut an inner side of the large end part 22, a second rotary cutting tool 15 that is inserted into a small end hole 25 formed in a small end part 24 of the con rod 20 to rotationally cut an inner side of the small end part 24 and a column 3 that moves the first rotary cutting tool 14 and the second rotary cutting tool 15 integrally with respect to the con rod 20, the first rotary cutting tool 14 is passed through the large end hole 23 in parallel to the large end hole 23, and the second rotary cutting tool 15 is passed through the small end hole 25 in an inclined state to the small end hole 25, so as to rotationally cut the large end hole 23 and the small end hole 25 and finish-machine the con rod 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
