Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for treating ballast water for a ship, capable of long-time steady operation without stop.SOLUTION: A system for treating ballast water for a ship uses a rotary filtration device including: a pleated filter 101 folded in a radial direction of a cylinder; a washing nozzle 102 for discharging the water to be treated toward the outer peripheral part of the filter; a case 103 which is disposed to surround the filter and includes an outer cylindrical part provided with a nozzle port of the washing nozzle; a filter water passage 107 for delivering the filtered water having passed through the filter to the outside of the case from the inside of a cylinder of the filter; and a discharge passage 108 for discharging discharge water which has not been filtered by the filter to the outside of the case. The system includes: a pressure difference detection means detecting a difference between a pressure of water to be treated between the outer cylindrical part and the filter and a pressure of the filtrated water in the cylinder of the filter; and a water quantity control means changing the flow rate of the washing water and the discharged water quantity of the discharge passage according to the change of the pressure difference.
