Title:
【発明の名称】耐食合金鋼の製造方法
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2566980
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To manufacture a corrosion-resisting alloy steel combining ductility with toughness and having high hardness, by mixing a powder of a matrix alloy having a specific composition consisting of C, Cr, Mo, Cu, Ni, and Fe with a TiC powder in a specific proportion and then applying sintering to the resulting powder mixture. CONSTITUTION:A TiC powder (20-60% by volume) and an argon atomized powder (40-80%) as matrix alloy are mixed. The above matrix alloy has a composition consisting of, by weight, 0.1-1.2% C, 15-26% Cr, 0.5-4.0% Mo, 0.2-2.0% Cu, 0.1-0.5% Ni, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities. By sintering the above mixture, the corrosion-resisting alloy steel having high hardness and superior corrosion resistance and combining ductility with toughness can be obtained. It is preferable that, when the above corrosion-resisting alloy steel is applied to a member, the above alloy steel after sintering is subjected to hot isostatic pressing treatment and joined to the member and then heated at 500-800 deg.C. By this method, the hardness, ductility, corrosion resistance, etc., of the above alloy steel can be improved to greater extents.
