Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain the subject composition with high compatibility with other resins by continuous contact mixing of a specific aromatic polyisocyanate composition in the presence of a separatory solvent being in a supercritical condition and a fluorine compound as a diluent. SOLUTION: This composition selectively containing polynuclear modifications is obtained by continuous contact mixing of an aromatic polyisocyanate composition as a polymethylene polyphenylene polyisocyanate mixture in the presence of a separatory solvent being in such a supercritical condition as to exceed both the critical temperature and pressure inherent in the substance (pref. supercritical carbon dioxide) and a fluorine compound as a diluent.
