Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience of a projector having a function as an illumination device.SOLUTION: A projector comprises: a power receiving terminal; a light source turned on by electric power supplied to the power receiving terminal; a light diffusion device for adjusting diffusivity of light from the light source; a specifying part for alternately specifying any one of illumination projection and image projection, whenever supply of the electric power to the power receiving terminal is started; and a light diffusion controller for controlling the light diffusion device, so that when the illumination projection is specified by the specifying part, the light diffusion device diffuses the light from the light source and when the image projection is specified, the light diffusion device does not substantially diffuse the light, but transmits the light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
