To provide a carrying-out method and a reforming-and-carrying-out system for excavated mud, which enable the excavated mud, discharged from a shield machine, to be carried out onto the ground in large mud carrying-out quantities at a low cost, which eliminate strict restrictions on the conditions of the conveyance of the mud, and which require a small installation space for ground equipment.
An excavated mud reforming apparatus 12, which reforms the excavated mud by adding a reforming agent to the excavated mud discharged from the shield machine and agitating and mixing the excavated mud and the reforming agent, is installed under a vertical shaft 10 for a shield method. The excavated mud is reformed by using the apparatus 12, and the water content of the excavated mud is decreased up to a level which enables conveyance using a conveyor line. The excavated mud after reforming is carried out onto the ground via the conveyor line 14.
