Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guard fence of which a size and a weight may be reduced while maintaining strength, and also facilitating storage and management of a member for fixing a movable side thereof on a ground surface.SOLUTION: A guard fence 1 includes a plurality of movable side members 2, a beam 4 connected to a respective support post 3 of the plurality of movable side members 2, a plurality of stationary cylinders (stationary side members) 10 fixed on a ground surface, an insertion pipe (a connection member) 9 housed in a first space 3a of the movable side member 2 so as to be movable in a vertical direction between a first height position and a second height position, and a holding part for holding the insertion pipe 9 at the second height position. At the first height position, the insertion pipe 9 is spanned between the movable side member 2 and the stationary cylinder 10 while being inserted into the first space 3a of the movable side member 2 and a second space 10a of the stationary cylinder 10. At the second height position, the insertion pipe is held at the second height position by the holding part while upwardly separating from the stationary cylinder 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
