PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backrest cushion combined with a disaster prevention hood that can prevent careless disengagement from a backrest of a chair and can simply be disengaged from the chair when used as a disaster prevention hood.SOLUTION: A backrest cushion combined with a disaster prevention hood of the present invention can be mounted in the backrest of a chair and can be worn as the disaster prevention hood in the disengagement from the chair. The backrest cushion combined with a disaster prevention hood has: a pair of cushioning pieces disposed in the front surface side of the backrest and the rear surface side thereof, respectively, so as to sandwich the backrest in wearing and connected at the upper part; a connecting piece for connecting one side part of the pair of cushioning pieces; an elastic strip bridged in the other side part of the pair of cushioning pieces; and a pair of shoulder pad pieces extending from the lower part of the pair of cushioning pieces, respectively. Engagement parts capable of being engaged with each other when one of the shoulder pad pieces is folded back to the surface side of the other cushioning piece are provided in the back side of the one of the shoulder pad pieces and the surface of the other cushioning piece.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
