Abstract:
To provide a pump casing which can minimize deformation when high pressure of liquid is received in both water pressure resistance test and normal operation.SOLUTION: A pump casing 8 includes: a suction volute 20 having a suction port 20a; a discharge volute 22 having a discharge port 22a and a volute chamber 22b; a first rib 31 provided on an outer face of the discharge volute 22 so as to surround a tongue part 25 configuring a swirl starting point of the volute chamber 22b; and a plurality of second ribs 32 extending from the discharge volute 22 to the suction volute 20. The first rib 31 extends through the tongue part 25 when viewed from an axial direction of the pump casing 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
