Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a pump from becoming impossible to suck when providing a plurality of ribs on an exterior wall of a casing.SOLUTION: A pump system 100 comprises: an electric motor 10; a casing 15 that is provided with an inlet port 151 from which liquid is sucked; a centrifugal impeller 14 that is provided in the casing and to that a running torque of the motor is conducted; a plurality of ribs that are provided on an exterior wall of the casing so as to partly interrupt the inlet port; a delivery pipe 18 that is communicated with the casing and water sucked from the inlet port is discharged through that by the rotation of the centrifugal impeller; an inflow pipe 19 that is communicated with the delivery pipe; a valve 20 provided in the inflow pipe and capable of being opened and closed; a current measurement instrument for measuring the current of the motor; and a control device 40 for controlling the motor and the valve, in which the control device executes the control of stopping the motor in accordance with the operation current value measured by the current measurement instrument and of opening the valve a predetermined number of times.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
