Abstract:
To provide a pump which can extend a run time of aerial operation or enables the aerial operation to be conducted continuously without stopping a drive part.SOLUTION: A pump 10 includes: a pump casing 12 in which a rotary shaft 22 is disposed; a submerged bearing 27 disposed in the pump casing 12 and rotatably supporting the rotary shaft 22; detection means 62 which detects whether the submerged bearing 27 is in air or water; an air supply mechanism 60 which can supply cooling air to the submerged bearing 27; and a control part 80 which air-cools the submerged bearing 27 with the air supply mechanism 60 when the detection means 62 detects the submerged bearing 27 in the air.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
