Title:
LACE FABRIC FORMED BY WEAVING JAPANESE PAPER YARN IN LONGITUDINAL DIRECTION WITH RASCHEL LACE KNITTING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2018115412
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lace fabric which is knitted or woven free from a breakage of a yarn by using a non-contractile Japanese paper yarn when weaving a Japanese paper yarn in a longitudinal direction in a Raschel knitting machine.SOLUTION: In a lace fabric knitted with a Raschel lace knitting machine having a 12-24 gauge needle bed, a Japanese paper yarn 2 is interwoven in a longitudinal direction and a mixture ratio of the Japanese paper yarn 2 thereto is 10-30%. The Japanese paper yarn 2 is provided with contraction properties by twisting a yarn of Japanese paper 450 times in an S direction and then second-twisting the yarn with a polyester 30dl yarn 670 times in a Z direction in a production process. In a knitting or weaving process, the Japanese paper yarn is used only in a part of a knitted texture of a ground texture to which only a minimum tension is applied.EFFECT: The lace fabric is formed by interweaving the Japanese paper yarn in a longitudinal direction, which diffuses the external light by a light diffusion action so as to average the brightness in a room.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
