Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire optimizing contour shapes of tire sidewall sections and effectively lowering eccentric rigidity to attain reduction of rolling resistance.SOLUTION: A radial direction outer end 6a of each bead filler 6 is located at the tire radial direction inside of a separation point e from a rim flange of an adaptive rim on an outer surface of a bead section at an attitude assembled with the adaptive rim R. In a tire width direction cross section, an internal surface of each sidewall section 3a and 3b includes a radial direction inside circular arc section 10 and a radial direction outside circular arc section 11 which are formed at the inside and the outside of the tire radial direction, respectively, to be separated from an internal surface intermediate point m farthest from a tire equatorial plane C in a tire width direction, are mutually continuous at the internal surface intermediate point m and are formed into projections at the tire width direction outside. At a tire attitude assembled to the adaptive rim R and filled with stipulated internal pressure, a radius of curvature of at least one of the sidewall sections 3a and 3b is made smaller in the radial direction inside circular arc section 10 than the radial direction outside circular arc section 11.
