Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent erroneous detection of start of radiation irradiation without forcing a subject to be unnecessarily exposed to radiation.SOLUTION: The irradiation detecting section 53 has a first comparing circuit 61, a second comparing circuit 62 and a determining circuit 63. The first comparing circuit 61 compares a voltage signal Dave which has been offset with a first threshold value Dref. The second comparing circuit 62 compares the voltage signal Dave to a second threshold value Dref'. The second threshold value Dref' is obtained by superimposing a noise component Δ generated by transmitting receiving operations of a communication section 34 on the first threshold value Dref. A control circuit 41 switches switching elements 64, 65 to the first comparing circuit 61, if the communication section 34 does not perform the transmitting receiving operations, and to the second comparing circuit 62, if the transmitting receiving operations are performed. The determining circuit 63 monitors voltage values of output terminals of the respective comparing circuits 61, 62 and determines whether or not the irradiation of X-ray is started. When the determining circuit 63 determines that X-ray irradiation is started, the control circuit 41 immediately allows an FPD 36 to shift to an accumulating operation.
