Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation imaging system capable of appropriately detecting radiation of a radiation ray, even when the radiation dose rate of the radiation ray radiated from a radiation source is low.SOLUTION: In the radiation imaging system 50, control means 22 of a radiation imaging apparatus 1 applies off voltage to all scanning lines 5 before radiation imaging, makes a read circuit 17 perform reading operation cyclically in the state that each switch means 8 is turned off and perform processing to read charges q leaked from a radiation detection element 7 via the switch means 8 as leak data dleak repeatedly, and detects that radiation of the radiation ray is started at the point of time when the read leak data dleak exceed a threshold dleak_th. In accordance with the imaged region of a subject which is transmitted from the console 58, in the read processing of the leak data dleak before radiation imaging, a time taken for one read processing is set.
