PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system capable of immediately transmitting an image, when starting radio communication, while preventing the defect of a display image in a radio controller as much as possible.SOLUTION: A security system 1 includes a camera unit 20 and an image display device 10. The camera unit 20 includes an image acquisition part 23 acquiring image data, an image quality adjustment part 24 adjusting the image quality of the image data, according to an image quality adjustment instruction of the image display device 10, and a radio slave unit communication part 22 transmitting the image data whose image quality is adjusted to the image display device 10. The image display device 10 includes an image quality adjustment determination part 163 generating the image quality adjustment instruction corresponding to a comparison result between the number of image frames received within a unit time and an image quality adjustment threshold, a radio communication part 11 transmitting the image quality adjustment instruction to the camera unit 20, and a storage part 15 storing the information of the image quality of the image quality adjustment instruction. The image quality adjustment determination part 163 generates the image quality adjustment instruction for setting the image quality to the minimum image quality, when starting the reception of the image data.
