Abstract:
Disclosed is an energy absorption device provided at the front end of a train, the energy absorption device comprising a vehicle coupler seat (3), a support base (5), a crushing pipe (6), a vehicle coupler (2), a guide member (7), an energy absorption element (4) and a crawling prevention assembly, wherein the support base (5) is fixedly arranged at the front end of the train; the crushing pipe (6) is fixed to the vehicle coupler seat (3); a vehicle coupler connection end (21) is inserted into the crushing pipe (6) and can slide relative thereto; one end of the guide member (7) is fixed to the vehicle coupler seat (3), and the other end is inserted into the support base (5) and can slide relative to the support base (5); the guide member (7) can limit the oscillation of the crushing pipe (6); the energy absorption element (4) is provided between the vehicle coupler seat (3) and the support base (5); and the crawling prevention assembly is fixedly provided on the support base (5), and can be compressed. Further disclosed is a rail vehicle having the energy absorption device. The energy absorption device absorbs the energy produced due to crushing by means of arranging a plurality of energy absorption assemblies in a limited space, and at the same time the displacement of the train in a direction perpendicular to itself is limited by means of the guide member (7) and the crawling prevention assembly, thereby preventing the vehicle from crawling and derailing.
