Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further facilitate measurement of a ratchet gap, which is a gap dimension between an apical surface of a tooth part of a ratchet wheel and a meshing surface of a claw part of a ratchet pole, which face each other, in an escalator.SOLUTION: A ratchet gap inspection support jig 68 of an escalator including a ratchet wheel 44 integrally rotating with a drive spindle of the escalator and having a plurality of tooth parts on an outer periphery thereof, and a ratchet pole 48 having a claw part 49 meshing with the tooth part 46 of the ratchet wheel 44 when a drive chain is disconnected includes a wheel side jig 70 and a pole side jig 80. The wheel side jig 70 has an attachment part 72 detachably attached to the ratchet wheel 44 by a magnetic force, and a measure abutment part 76 fixed to the attachment part 72 at a right angle and extending from a tip position of the tooth part 46 of the ratchet wheel 44 beyond a width dimension of the ratchet pole 48.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
