Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pigmented aqueous base paint, containing a polyether-based reaction product, which can be produced by reacting (a) at least one dicarboxylic acid of formula (I), HOOC - Y - COOH (I), wherein Y is a divalent aliphatic, aromatic, or araliphatic hydrocarbon group having 4 to 11 carbon atoms, with (b) at least one polyether of general structural formula (II), wherein R is a C4 to C6 alkylene group and n is selected accordingly in such a way that the polyether (b) has a number-average molecular weight of 200 to 4000 g/mol, wherein components (a) and (b) are used in a molar ratio of 0.7/2.3 to 1.6/1.7 in the reaction and the resulting reaction product has a number-average molecular weight of 500 to 15000 g/mol and an acid number of less than 10 mg KOH/g.
