Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactivation method of a catalyst for iron accumulation flow contact degradation having iron or nickel accumulated on a surface.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for reactivating an inactivated catalyst by closing pores due to iron accumulated on a surface of a catalyst for iron accumulation flow contact degradation, an abrasion removal of iron accumulated on the surface is conducted by flowing the catalyst for iron accumulation flow contact degradation in a container with an ascending current at a temperature of 800°C or less for 0.5 to 30 hrs and contacting catalysts each other to obtain a reactivated catalyst. There is provided a method for reactivating a catalyst for flow contact degradation where a fresh catalyst and a catalyst for iron accumulation flow contact degradation has a pore diameter in maximum pore volume in a range of 50 to 500 nm satisfying a condition represented by the following formula 1. D/D+0.05≤D/D≤1.0 Formula 1. (a) D: pore diameter in maximum pore volume of the fresh catalyst (nm). (b) D: pore diameter in maximum pore volume of the catalyst for iron accumulation flow contact degradation (nm).
