Abstract:
To provide a technique that makes it possible to properly evaluate the image quality of a radiological image read out from an imaging plate.SOLUTION: A reading device for reading a radiological image from an imaging plate includes a light source that irradiates an imaging plate with excitation light and a first detector that detects light emitted from the imaging plate by the excitation light and outputs a first image signal as a detection result of the emitted light. The light source irradiates an evaluation member having an evaluation pattern on the front surface based on the first image signal for evaluating the image quality of the detected radiological image. The reading device further includes a second detector that detects reflected light of the excitation light from the surface of the evaluation member and outputs a second image signal as a detection result of the reflected light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
