Abstract:
To provide a vehicle body rear part structure which, for example, supports a load input during a lateral collision with a first floor cross member without reinforcing a rear side frame with a reinforcement member.SOLUTION: A vehicle body rear part structure includes: a first floor cross member 14; and a second floor cross member. The first floor cross member 14 is disposed at the vehicle front relative to a battery 121 and is connected to a rear side frame 13 extending in a vehicle fore and aft direction at the outer side in a vehicle width direction. The first floor cross member 14 includes widening parts 14B, in which a width as seen in the vehicle fore and aft direction increases to a position overlapping with the battery 121, at its ends. A border part 88 between the widening part 14B and the rear side frame 13 is disposed at the position overlapping with the battery 121 in a side view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
