Title:
A rechargeable battery module and a rechargeable battery monitoring instrument
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6165620
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery module capable of improving accuracy for calculating a remaining life of a secondary battery containing amorphous carbon in a negative-electrode active material.SOLUTION: An arithmetic unit 7 of a secondary battery module 1 determines a coefficient A in Equation [y(t)=A×y1(t)+(1-A)×y2(t)] for an estimated degradation rate y(t) on the basis of a battery temperature T and a state of charge (SOC) acquired over a service period of a secondary battery 2, calculates lifetime tL based on Equation [y(t)=A×y1(t)+(1-A)×y2(t)] using the coefficient A and a preset degradation rate over the lifetime, and calculates a residual life ΔtL=tL-t of the secondary battery 2 on the basis of the lifetime tL and use time t measured by a timer 6. In Equation [y(t)=A×y1(t)+(1-A)×y2(t)], t indicates the use time of the secondary battery 2, y1(t) indicates a degradation rate calculated from a logarithm of the use time t, and y2(t) indicates a degradation degree calculated from a square root of the use time t.
