Abstract:
To provide a reciprocating cutting tool which further facilitates assembly of an operation part interlocked with an attaching/detaching mechanism of a blade.SOLUTION: A reciprocating saw 1 as a reciprocating cutting tool includes a slider 158 provided with a blade clamp 156 which attaches and detaches a blade, a release drum 240 which operates detachment of the blade and a gear housing 20 which retains the release drum 240. Further, the release drum 240 has a release drum hole 252 and an operation piece. The gear housing 20 has a left gear housing 20a of the reception side and a right gear housing of the covering side. A gear housing hole is opened on the left gear housing 20a and a hole for a first operation the piece which causes the operation piece to pass therethrough is opened on right gear housing. Further, when the release drum hole 252 is overlapped on the gear housing hole, the operation piece of the release drum 240 comes to a position which does not interfere with the right gear housing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
