Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently recovering a high-purity platinum group metal with good separability of a platinum group without influence of Ru distillation on Pt recovery.SOLUTION: A method for recovering a platinum group includes: a first reduction step of reducing a residual liquid after solvent extraction of palladium from a platinum group-containing solution; a first chlorination and elution step of dissolving recovered, first reduced slag with hydrochloric acid and an oxidant; a step of diluting the solution with water; a platinum precipitation step of precipitating platinum in the diluted solution to recover the platinum; a second reduction step of reducing liquid after the platinum recovery; a second chlorination and elution step of dissolving the second reduced slag with hydrochloric acid and an oxidant; a step of performing the oxidative distillation of the solution to recover ruthenium; and a step of precipitating and recovering rhodium from the distillation residual liquid.
