Title:
METHOD FOR MODIFYING FLOATING MUD, AND FLOATING MUD MODIFYING MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2016107261
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for modifying floating mud, in which the floating mud, that is generated on the bottom of water when suspended matter is precipitated and accumulated, is modified so that elution of dissolved sulfide or nutrient salt from the floating mud can be suppressed, generation of hydrogen sulfide can be suppressed and resuspension due to dispersion of the floating mud can also be prevented.SOLUTION: The method for modifying floating mud, which is generated on the bottom of the water when the suspended matter is precipitated and accumulated, comprises the steps of: laying a floating mud modifying material, which contains 60 mass% or more steel slag having 10 mass% or more total iron content and has 20 vol.% or higher void ratio, on the bottom quality of the bottom of the water so that an iron component and a calcium component are supplied from the floating mud modifying material to the floating mud deposited thereon. The elution of dissolved sulfide or nutrient salt from the floating mud can be suppressed by the iron component and calcium component supplied from the floating mud modifying material to the floating mud, the generation of hydrogen sulfide can also be suppressed, and the floating mud is modified to have such a characteristic and state that the floating mud is re-deposited easily even when dispersed.SELECTED DRAWING: None
