The damage of the cooling unit can be suppressed as this refrigerator includes the cooling unit 200 having the cooler 212 constituting a cooling cycle, a suction pipe 215 connected with the cooler 212, a heating source 213 for removing frost attached to the cooler 212, a housing 214 receiving the cooler 212 and the heating source 213, and an air blower 211 introducing the outside air into the housing 214; an inner box 121 made of resin and disposed inside the refrigerator 100 to define a refrigerating compartment, mounted with the cooling unit 200; an outer box 122 disposed outside the inner box 121 at a prescribed distance; and a heat insulating material 123 filled between the inner box 121mounted with the cooling unit 200 and the outer box 122.
