Abstract:
To provide a refrigerator where a suction pipe can be fitted in an insulation space of a cabinet while suppressing reduction in a content volume of the cabinet.SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes: cabinet 2 where a cooler chamber 40 is formed inside an inner box 6 and a machine chamber 34 is formed outside an outer box 4; cooler 54 provided in the cooler chamber 40; a compressor 56 provided in the machine chamber 34; and a suction pipe 82 returning refrigerant flown out from the cooler 54 to the compressor 56. The suction pipe 82 is folded up and down at a corner part of a heat insulation space 8 formed with the side walls and the back wall of the cabinet 2. An upstream side suction pipe 82a and a downstream side suction pipe 82b located on a downstream side in a refrigerant flowing direction from the upstream side suction pipe 82a are disposed in parallel at the corner part. The upstream side suction pipe 82a is provided outward in the width direction of the cabinet 2 from the downstream side suction pipe 82b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
