Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator which can maintain a cooling capacity by using a cold storage material and achieve energy saving.SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes a cooler 115 which cools a storage compartment by the operation of a compressor, and a cooling compartment accommodating the cooler 115. A cold storage material 127 is arranged in contact with or adjacent to the cooler 115. The storage compartment is cooled by the cooler 115 and the cold storage material 127. In a load input during putting in/out a food, cooling is carried out by cold heat of the cold storage material and the cooler, thereby reducing temperature rising in the storage compartment, emitting coldness while operating the compressor in a drive rotation number lower than the conventional. So, a cooling capacity is improved while the operation of the compressor in a high rotation number is restricted, achieving improvement of an energy efficiency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3a
